Restylane

Restylane® Fillers, Skinboosters and Skincare, Atlanta

Restylane® can be injected to add volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the nasolabial lines that extend from your nose to the corners of your mouth, lines above the upper lip, lines at the corners of the mouth, and marionette lines that extend downward from the corners of the mouth to the jawline. Restylane® injectable gel adds volume and restores youthful contours immediately after treatment.

Natural Anti-Aging

One of the main causes of sagging, wrinkled skin is the loss of hyaluronic acid. This naturally occurring substance provides fullness to youthful skin. Restylane® is specifically formulated to act like your body’s own hyaluronic acid, adding volume and smoothing wrinkles.

How long does Restylane® Last?

Results from Restylane® will be seen immediately. Patients have experienced full correction from Restylane® for up to 18 months with a follow up treatment after 4 months. On average, only half the injection is needed at the follow up appointment.

What can I expect after my Restylane® treatment?

Restylane® requires no downtime. Some swelling and bruising may occur but should reside within the first seven days after treatment.

For best post-treatment results, use a cold compress to reduce swelling and bruising. Avoid: touching your face while it is still numb from treatment, exposure to intense heat or cold, and aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medications.

Is Restylane® Safe?

Restylane® has been used for over a decade in more than 10 million treatments and 65 countries.

The Restylane family of products should not be used by people with previous bad allergies, particularly to certain microorganisms known as gram-positive bacteria; by people with previous bad allergies to drugs who have required in-hospital treatment; or by people with bleeding disorders. Injections should not be made anywhere except the skin or just under the skin. Restylane-L and Perlane-L should not be used by people with a known allergy to lidocaine. To avoid bruising and bleeding, you should not use any products in the Restylane family if you have recently used drugs that thin your blood or prevent clotting.
